Bought it for the power and 5-year warranty (about $51 with the 20 oz cup) after a Ninja that left spinach chunks. Returned a $300 Vitamix Alta Pro that couldn't blend a single serving well, and kept the Obliterator; happy with it.
Bought a Chefman blender a couple of weeks earlier; it started smoking and got hot to the touch while blending a smoothie. The manual says never run it longer than a minute, and they threw it away.
