Got the Ascent X4 with the stainless container a couple of months ago and uses it daily; it works well and is very well made.
Makes mostly single-serve smoothies in their Ascent X4 and finds the blend quality unparalleled.
Their Ascent X4 is significantly less loud than their sister's Explorian and much quieter than the 5200.
Had the X2 and now the X4; they perform the same, but they miss the X2's physical levers and see the X4's touch panel as only for those who like the techy look.
Has the X4 and is very happy; calls it an absolute champion.
Their X4 spins at high speed without mixing the top layer despite proper layering, which they find frustrating for an expensive blender.
